Note #1: Promote specific products, not the whole brand

Small or startup e-shops often make one mistake: they try to promote their brand instead of showcasing specific products. Notice that most large retailers focus on promoting just a few selected items on sale and rarely promote their brand directly. Why? Customers don’t care about your company—they care about solving their problems.
No matter what you’re selling, focus on promoting specific products or offers. A particular phone, a specific book, a unique loan offer, and so on. Don’t worry, people know you have thousands of other items in stock. Your goal is to simply get them to visit your store or website.
